Imposter Syndrome
As I prepared to answer questions about my book for its promotion. I started to feel anxious, and imposter syndrome kicked in.
How do I answer questions about being an author when I haven’t even gone to university or done anything on this scale before?
Then I realised that this was okay.
I believe everyone should have a go at writing a story, as it’s been a rewarding experience for me.
It doesn’t matter if you’re 9 or 99 years old.
If we let our imagination wander, who knows what might come from it?
I haven’t gone to university to study writing, I actually failed GCSE English, but the best thing I did was hire a skilled editor to make sure my work was clean and shiny. I know not everyone can do this, but if you save up, their help is invaluable to your quality of content.
Anything is possible if you put your mind to it and seek help from the people who know what they’re doing.
So when I answer questions regarding my lack of education; I’m doing this for those who think they couldn’t or can’t. This is my story 📖
