message 7: by Katie (new)

Katie Metz That’s great! So many of your books have really excellent narration. Particularly fond of your voice as well as the late great Frank Muller.

message 8: by Neil (new)

Neil Stonewall Herrmann I wasn't impressed with Fairy Tale. The pacing was off and 60% through, the story just stops and becomes a boring miasma. I gave it my best shot but I didn't like it. Better luck next time!

message 14: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Pluff I have been reading this book non-stop the last few days and even though I am 88 pages out, I feel confident in saying this is one of my favorite King novels. If I could describe in one word, I would say this book is "delicious"! It reminds me of The Eyes of the Dragon, another favorite. Congratulations on a job well done!

Yeah, I am also hesitant when authors move a little out of their norm but this was a great read. Enjoyed it first to last page.

message 21: by Heather (new)

Heather I am almost through the audiobook. I agree Seth Numrich is a highly skilled vocal performer. His narration of Mr. King's work is outstanding. I hope to hear him again.

message 22: by Dale (new)

Dale Rosso I loved Fairy Tale and was sad to see the story end when I finished the book. I would love to revisit the characters in that hidden land in another novel.

message 23: by Dina (new)

Dina Robinson I just listened to an audio excerpt of fairy tale, and I am already hooked. I now am working on reading King's latest book and I want to say Stephen King is still a master writer of thriller, fantasy and horror.

message 24: by Ardell (new)

Ardell Oeixo I just finished this two days ago! It's been a thrilling and terrifying journey in equal measure.

message 25: by Anne (new)

Anne I am curently listening to "Fairy Tale". I am past the 8th chapter. Ouch, that one hurt, but I know there are good things to come. I'm loving this book. It is similar in line to From a Buick 8.

message 26: by Panda (new)

Panda Seth Numrich contributed an awesome read to Fairy Tale. I have and continue to recommend that anyone planning on reading or re-reading Fairy Tale, consider going with the audiobook version.

I purchased the hardcover and then borrowed the audiobook on Libby. So much good!
