I've got a cast of characters who want to be heard, but I'm not ready to write their series yet! I have to keep telling them to wait their turns. :)

People often ask authors how they come up with their ideas. For me, a lot of times a character comes to me first. I may have a scene come to mind, and I build from there. I ask questions like, "what if...?" or hear a news story and think, wouldn't it be funny if...

I'm excited to share this group of characters with you in my next series, but for now, I've got other books to finish.
