I fell in love with Grace Kelly when I was around twelve years old and saw a photo of her wearing the famous black and white chiffon dress from the movie Rear Window.
I thought she looked like a princess and became even more fascinated with her when I found out I was right! She was real royalty!
Shortly after that, Edith Head, the fashion designer who designed that beautiful dress (and many more of Grace’s iconic looks) came to my hometown to appear on a local television show. My mom and one of her friends took me to the taping, and I got to see Edith in person. Thus, my love of fashion was born! Grace Kelly Movie Night is an homage to this love, and it’s a story I’ve been wanting to tell for a long time.
