Now in Paperback!
Good news! The Midcoast is now out in paperback, which means the "perfect summer read about a perfect vacation haven" (thank you, Angie Kim) just got EVEN MORE PERFECT (smaller, cheaper, softer, AND with a Q and A featuring David Benioff).
You can go here to find plenty of ways to order it, or just head to your local bookstore.
How to throw a ruthless Maine party:
1. Drop The Midcoast in your beach bag or clam bucket.
2. Brew a hefty batch of fish house punch.
3. Fire up your truck or Subaru.
4. Crank the WBLM or 92 Moose.
5. Drive the truck or Subaru into a field.
6. Keep the radio cranked, drink the punch, read the book.
If you need to convince any of your friends to check out The Midcoast, you can send them to the New York Times review, or tell them to read the novel before it gets turned into a show on Hulu, or tell them it was #1 on the Portland Press-Herald bestseller list (widely regarded as the most prestigious bestseller list in the country) for pretty much the entire year except for every other week when I think the paper gets its sales figures from a different bookstore, which apparently doesn't sell quite as many copies of The Midcoast, but only, I'm assuming, because they were telling everyone to wait for the paperback to come out.
Thanks to everyone who read the book the first time around, and thanks for spreading the word!
Best,
Adam
