Howdy!

I must admit that I am not sure how this whole Goodreads blog thing works, but I am determined to give it my best go at the Author Thing, so here I am. Writing Goodreads Blog Post #1.

It is difficult to decide what to write. I have a hard time thinking that anything I say or do is interesting, but I also feel like we all think that about ourselves. It's hard to look at yourself without bias. Although I see myself as boring, I know that not everyone would say that.

When I tell people IRL that I enjoy writing and am working on my second novel, they normally think it is actually very interesting and then when I tell them about Cosmically Insignificant and/or King Arthur vs. the Aliens, they always remark about their unique-ness. Whether or not that is positive does depend on the person, however hearing someone say, "Wow, I've never heard of a story like that!" does negate any qualms I have with myself about being boring.

So let this be an official log. June 3rd, 2023, I am giving this blog a go. It is a shot in the dark, but perhaps logging my self-perceived boring ramblings will seem interesting to others. You will never know if you never try.
