Murder Mystery, the 1920s, RAGT23 and a Party!

At the annual Reader/Author Get Together this year my son, Brian Feehan, and I hosted an after-dinner party. I’ve always loved the 1920s as many of my readers know. I’ve had other 1920s themed parties and I love the costumes. I thought it would be fun to have a murder mystery theater using the 1920s theme and am so excited about how well it went.

We found a local acting troop who specializes in murder mystery theater called THE MURDER MYSTERY CO. They were so fun! The way they put it on enabled everyone in attendance to have a chance at solving the mystery. It was very interactive and so many people told me they enjoyed it.

The costumes were amazing, and I wanted to share some of the pictures.

Carol L Cridge Looks like so much fun! The old Wild West was my favorite theme and I dressed like Annie Oakley sporting my 22 rifle I used to hunt with. LOL

Helia Nanashi ik your super busy but you and Brian should do a colab with the 1920s as the theme. Ice Nine Kills has a song about a ware Wolf taking over around then i believe. That would be a good plot...(not sure if you have to ask them for permission to use it though)

Jean Morgan It looks like so much fun! I love how close you and your son Brian appear to be. I have so enjoyed not only your stories and all your series, but Brian’s two novels as well. Thank you both!

Amanda Bhear That looks so cool! Most of the the dressing up I have done is for halloween. But it's always fun. I was going to do a Southern Belle last year but it was to cold & I had to do a quick throw together outfit. Turned out doing a high school concert groupie. It was all I could think of with a few hours & a few things in my closet. It didn't turn out too bad. I have always had fun with that kind of stuff.
