Quickie, I just watched your interview on "We Are The Light". To me it's obvious that you have gone to places that I have not. I recall in our paint crew days you mentioning that your father was "old school". Never did I get the sense that he was abusive towards you. Only later did I realize that he was younger than me. The thing I find missing in your books is parenthood. Your characters usually have a second hand relationship to other family members. Your book on understanding your uncle's PTSD came close. Maybe your memoir [still to be read] will supply an answer here. Doc
