Newsletter news - Or: I’ve finally decided to start one (For my fiction writing, not just for myself ;)

In that spirit, I’ve created one and invite you to join. Below is a list of benefits, since there should be something in this for you.

When you join my email list using the link (LINK) you’ll automatically be gifted with a small collection of short stories and poems I’ve written which never seemed to fit in any collections and have never been published.When you’re a member of my email list, you’ll get presents like this every now and again (extras, previews, spoilers, etc.)When you’re a member of my email list, you’ll always know when my latest releases are coming out and will be able to get them at deep discounts, often before the official release dates and, if you wish, for free in return for honest feedback which I won’t require you to leave on any online bookseller’s site.You also won’t be spammed with garbage or sold to constantly. In fact, you won’t be “sold to” ever. When I write you, I’ll never ask you to buy anything of mine or send you any affiliate links, share your email addresses, etc.Best of all, maybe, I’ve worked it out so, if I send you a newsletter about something you don’t wish to hear about ever again (For example, I might write an email about something regarding the craft of writing), you’ll be able to opt-out of particular email topics (In this example, “about writing”). If I send you chapters of books that didn’t make it to one of my works that’s out there live, you can opt out of getting that sort of thing, etc. You can even opt out based on the different types of fiction I write. That way, you’ll only receive emails from me which you want to receive. If you opt out of everything I might like to write about, you’ll only get emails when I’m announcing new releases and pre-release savings. If you opt out of those, after opting out of everything else, you’ll be automatically unsubscribed, as I’ll have nothing to email you about and I’m not interested in harvesting your email addresses or using them in any capacity other than to ensure you get my announcements/newsletters if you want them.If you just want this freebie only, you can subscribe to the list, download it, and unsubscribe. I won’t hold it against you. Note, however, that, if you sign up again, you’ll receive an email in response asking if you really want to rejoin. I decided to do this not because I don’t want anyone to be able to do as they will and just dip in for the freebies, only so that no one on my list is on there who doesn’t wish to be. The number one thing I don’t want to do with this list is build up a group of subscribers who have no interest in hearing from me.

NOTE: If I do future freebies (or when I do), the old ones will still be available on the sign-up page and existing members will receive them as well. I’m not in love with this Internet timer-culture (check in every 5 seconds or you’ll miss out). If you join my list and there are surprises or bonuses, you can live your live, be present in it and, when you feel like checking in or checking up, you won’t have missed out on a thing. I don’t believe in gifting my fan-base like a drug dealer or an attention whore. That being said, except for the first email you receive, all emails will be original. You will not be subjected to any automated campaigns. However, if you wish to receive emails you missed, just ask me and I’ll be happy to send them to you, no worries.
