I don't know how many people who follow me read my crime novel Layla's Score (about a hitman and his seven-year-old daughter), but the sequel Layla's Gone is out now. I'm very excited about it.

Layla's Gone is a crazy book that goes beyond the normal hitman action/crime novel story stuff. In this one, a mob boss kidnaps Layla to make Lefty (her daddy) and Orlando Williams (his former rival-turned-friend and character from The Suicide Game a.k.a. Mad World) come to Detroit to track down the serial killer who murdered his daughter. How often have you seen a book about two hitmen tracking down a serial killer?

It's an insane story, but it's also a lot of fun if I do say so myself. Both books are published by Next Chapter Books and are available at Amazon.
