Reading is an important skill not just for school but for everyday life!

How can you encourage your kids to read?

- Make sure reading materials are easily accessible.
- Let them choose what they want to read. (Even if they want to re-read the same thing for a bit!)
- Make sure their books are age appropriate.
- Use technology! (Maybe they'd like to read on an e-reader.)
- Take your time, not all children will show interest in reading quickly but as the parent you can help them discover the joy of reading over time.
