I saw this quote the other day that says the trees are about to show us how beautiful it is to let things go. It was referring to the falling leaves from the trees during the fall season.
But here’s the thing about letting go…
Letting go can be beautiful.
Yet it can also be excruciatingly hard.
Because most often we will experience grief in the transitions.
In my new book Can You Just Sit with Me, I talk about how grief often begins when we start to let go. Whether it’s the letting go of someone or something. The very act of letting go can be so very hard.
Have you noticed this or experienced this in your life? The pain of letting go?
Most likely, we all have. And it’s in those moments where we can acknowledge we are grieving. And it’s in those moments when have the opportunity to tend to our grief. To give ourselves permission, space, and the grace to grieve.
