A May Day Read-fest

I'm looking forward to the Bank Holiday to catch up on my reading. I've just reviewed a couple of ebooks that I really enjoyed, Isaac Asimov's last autobiography and a geeky sic-fi book by an author I hadn't read before, Carl Frederick. I certainly intend to read some more of his stuff as he combines good science with humour.
I've just bought Julius Harlande's new Masonic murder mystery novel and a Fred Hoyle book on cosmology for my Kindle and plan to sit on the beach, weather permitting and read them while I watch the tide, to make sure it keeps working (It's a hard life but if nobody watches it then the tidal flow might stop and all the boats in the world would get stuck without tides :-) )
If I get the time I intend to post reviews of my latest ebook purchases. Kindle app on a iPad and a B&W Kindle, The iPad is ok indoors in low light but the Kindles wins hands down outside or in the sunlight. Fortunately the iPad app and the Kindle automatically keep track of where I am in each book and scroll to it when I open the device. That makes it easy to switch between platforms, including the occasional use of my PC when I have spare moments,
I am finding ebooks make it easy to fit in time for reading, although I still can't resist a good second hand book shop and probably never will!

Wayne Owens auto-correct typo. "I really annoyed" should be "I really enjoyed"
