Dragon Thirst Series!
Thank you to all who signed up for either or both Dragon Thirst "Goodreads Giveaways!" 100 Mythos and 100 Legends were awarded in all!
I'm really excited about this series, and want to take a minute to explain why Dragons vs Vampires as a matchup you must read to appreciate...
The thought occurred to me while writing Aerouant, the story of a young boy bonding a dragon. Though petulant and full of vengeance at first, the boy only bonded a tiny dragon the size of a lizard. As the boy's worthiness grew and his motives slowly evolved to match his potential, the dragon grew as well.
Then I realized the story needed a better antagonist, one so terrible it had hunted the dragons to near extinction. That's when I shelved Aerouant, pulled it from Kindle Vella, and reworked the story into "Dragon Thirst Legends." After that, Kado's sister, Briaca, gave me a story to tell in "Dragon Thirst Mythos."
What grew turned out the most fun I've ever had while writing - a modern, urban fantasy, that also provides a foray into the Roman Empire and earlier times, as ancient myths and legends emerged unique to the world I had built.
Now it's time to dive in, to learn about ancient foes with divine ties and origins, locked in a battle that wages today. They walk among us, but Dragon Walkers like Kado and Briaca fight for humanity... and dragons.
I can't wait to see all of your reviews! Yes, I read them all!
Thank you for reading and, as always, for keeping writing fun for this author!

I originally wrote the Dreamers of Andalon series for my own children as they reached young adulthood. I knew that they would seek guidance in the world that couldn't come from me, despite doing my best to raise them as a single father.
The story is exciting and full of action, but tugs on some of the toughest realities of childhood trauma. Each of my characters are as beautifully flawed as my children and millions like them who survived and endured the harsh reality of our world.
Therefore I gave them and you a new world to explore. Sail with pirates or fight alongside the valiant prince who yearns for the fairy tale that always eludes his grasp. Get lost in Andalon and learn that we are not defined by our trauma, rather, only we can choose how we grow from experience. ...more
