Hey my lovelies!

Okay… I’ll admit it, having a normal job is really starting to get to me, especially because there have been so many changes in the last few months. You’d think things would be easier after a decade, but that’s proving to not be the case. Unfortunately.

Things are going a bit slower in the writing department because of it as work is demanding more of my time, plus I still have to sleep and spend time with my family. So I’m not being afforded the time I’d like to be able to write.

(Okay… okay… a small part of it is that when I do have a little time to write, I’m reading instead. These stories are just sucking me in and I can’t help it. I’m not sure if it’s writer’s block or self sabotage — alright, yes… that is definitely a factor…

I’m so excited for the BRO CODE series and I can’t wait to get it in your hands. I think there’s just been so much of everything recently that it’s hard getting back into the groove, no matter how much I want to dive in and be able to write 2-3 chapters a day! But I will get there. I’m too stubborn not to.

Also, I’m working on revisions for Kiss Me at Midnight and that will be released wide soon.

Again, as we all know, this whole thing here is still a work-in-progress. This is me still trying to figure out the best way to do things. And that’s going to take some time. I’m going to make decisions and change my mind about a hundred times. (You can have some input in these decisions by letting me know how you like to receive things by replying in the comments or by email.)

We finished the Daryl post-TWD spin-off. They was pretty good. We also started to watch The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix. (If you have kids who are interested, please mind the content warnings as this definitely not a kid-friendly show, so proceed with caution.)

So, as you can see, I still have two writing/author goals and one personal goal.

Things are going to be pretty much the same with my author goals until I finish writing Breaking Ground. And as I said previously, I’m going to keep the reading every day goal until at least until the end of the year.

I kept the sales the same for this week (which, I’m happy to report I far surpassed the goal last week) and knocked my chapters written down to five, since I’m still dealing with a lot.

It’s been a tough couple weeks but I really need to get back to it.

My boys are feeling lonely and feisty.

Reminder: Every week I complete all three goals, I will share with you (available to all subscribers, not just paid subscribers) a chapter from a paranormal romance I’m in the middle of writing!

I will get the next chapter of Breaking Ground out on Friday and despite the fact that I’ve not met the writing goal yet, I will share the first chapter of Shadow Kissed. I feel like ya’ll deserve it!
