Very excited about the potential for a series around Joe and the gang. Living in northern NH my whole life and even working for my hometown I appreciate reading your books because I am familiar with a lot of the places that are in your books. Would love for you to include my Town. Hoping for many more Gunther & Co. adventures to read about.

GOOD ON YOU for taking a well-deserved break!I see you are multi-talented though this is no surprise... you do excellent work in wood AND books.
CONGRATULATIONS on new TV series that is sure to Popular!
We live in MD, so I'll say...

I'm glad you're enjoying a break. I binged Joe Gunther last summer and loved the progression of the novels. Then I binged Mick Herron's Slough House series this winter, but I'm really missing Joe Gunther. I hope you decide to bring the gang back at some point- just please don't wait too long, I'm in my 60's. :-)
I've read all your Joe Gunther novels and always thought he was deserving of a TV series. Congratulations; this is exciting news! When I watch the UK TV series "Shetland", the main character and even his team remind me of Gunther and his crew. Just please don't let them turn it into a comedy-drama series like they did Karen Slaughter's "Will Trent". We like Joe & Co exactly the way your novels portray them.
