You should tell your story

“…remember your your ‘Why'” — Lisa Nichols, Author, Speaker, Empowerment Coach

Why tell my story?

Because it matters to you and, believe it or not, it will matter to someone else.

Stories are written by ‘smart’ people.

A memoir, for example,  is a compilation of snapshots about your life and, a good way of telling your story.  I have encouraged folks to look back, retrospectively, write about their life occurrences and, not be stymied by a potential outcome. You are a qualified to write your story.

Penning a full-length story, with creativity and art, might move you toward a beneficial life change, yet, folks have “sat” on their stories for many years, even decades because of the fear of being criticized. On the other hand, many have written stories that turned into published works, and, it started with a desire to be authentic. You can improve your self-importance and build self-confidence and even make money on the side when you publish your story.

Make your story true, connect readers to your thoughts, endear yourself to readers with your genuine emotions and, draw on their sympathies; then watch your writing life unfold in a perfect way. It is important that you “be yourself” as you write … readers can “feel” an emotional heart. You ought to tell your story!
