I have always loved reading. My entire life, it's been my escape from the world. It's allowed me to travel in my mind to different places, cultures, and times. Books have captivated my mind and soul. I've always dreamed of writing and publishing a book that reflects my creative abilities and provides readers an enjoyable and intriguing reading experience. I aimed to create a story that engrosses readers into the lives of relatable characters. A love story so passionate it makes your heart flop in your chest while you're reading. One of those stories where you tell yourself, "just one more chapter" before putting it down.
I came close a few times, but as it so often does, life had a way of pushing me off course. Finally, my dreams have come to fruition.
The Power of Butterflies is my debut novel. It is a story that transports the reader to a time when life may have moved a little slower, yet the perpetual challenges and conflicts of youth remain. It introduces readers to a powerful love that has withstood time and space. To flawed characters that must find forgiveness to accept mistakes of the past, or risk losing their final chance at true love. It explores the power of resiliency in overcoming life obstacles and the potential to allow a heart to love.
