Angst + Grovel

I'm very picky with my grovels and when I wrote Scorned Heir and Scorned Vows, I was trying to determine what would satisfy me as a reader.
It's not merely a checklist of saying "I'm sorry" and expensive gifts, and, please, no emasculating of the hero please. I want the hero to remain alpha while he grovels.

Scorned Heir is a taste of what I want to see in a grovel while Scorned Vows is almost a thesis on how I want to see my hero grovel. However, as I was telling my readers, grovel is too simple a word. I want to call it a hero redemption.

Will Luca's grovel in Scorned Vows satisfy all readers? Of course not. Reading is subjective.

Scorned Vows is a mafia romance but it is not dark. It's more plot than spice, but as always when the spice happens, it's super hot. If you're craving a book that puts you through a roller coaster of emotions because of angst and an alphah0le hero, then Scorned Vows will be perfect for you. There is no holding back with the heroine heartache here.

It's also 25% longer than most of my books because there's no rushing Luca's redemption. This man has been in my head for more than a year, it's time for payback. :)

Scorned Vows (Scorned Fate #2) by Victoria Paige releases on January 16th. Add it to your TBR now.
