I'm counting down the days to the release of my new picture book, LUIGI, THE SPIDER WHO WANTED TO BE A KITTEN! It's illustrated by Library Lion illustrator Kevin Hawkes, and was just named the #1 Pick of the American Booksellers Association's March/April 2024 Kids' Indie Next List.

If you're in the NYC area, I hope you will come to the launch party on March 5! It will be at the new independent bookstore Lofty Pigeon Books in Brooklyn, NY. The party is for all ages, and we'll have snacks and treats for littles and bigs, as well as fun giveaways. The event is free with no purchase necessary, but if you'd like to get a signed book, please preorder so we'll be sure to have enough! There's a preorder link in the event page or you can preorder from my website. Be sure to leave a note in the comments when you order saying that you'd like the book signed, and include any names for personalization. Choose "pick up in store" if you want to get the book in person at the party.

If you can't come to the party, you can of course still preorder a signed book if you like and have it shipped to you!
