How will you spend your time?

Psalm 90:10 tells us that, "Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures..."

James 4:14 tells us that, "whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."

These two verses are an example of a handful of verses that informs us that our days on this earth are limited. History has confirmed this fact by showing us that every human life comes to an end, which is why it is so important to actually live while you're alive. When God created us, he gave us freewill. He lets us choose how we live and who we live for. We can choose to live for the temporary (world) or the eternal (Christ). In His kingdom it doesn't matter if you're a billionaire or a pauper, famous or unknown. If you accept His eternal gift of salvation, when life on earth ends, you will be face to face with the Savior. He will welcome you into your eternal home with open arms.

Don't let the world and those in it shape your views to their sinful and destructive lifestyle, where the crimson stain of sin is the standard. Choose life and allow the blood of Jesus to wash that crimson stain white as snow. Let His love and grace make your time on earth a testimony to others so that they can share in His kingdom with all believers.

Like Psalm 90:12, ask him to, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
