Turning the Page

Picture For nearly 25 years I was a novelist, which sounds exciting until you realize it's mostly a lonely craft where you pound away at a keyboard for hours (and hours and hours) on a story that you edit for hours (and hours and well, you get the idea…). For many years, I gave up on writing creatively altogether.

But eventually, I was ready to share with the world five books and a short story, all of which you can add to your library, virtual and otherwise. But, despite my best efforts, I wasn't what you would call a best seller by any stretch of the definition.

In the last few years, my eyes turned to Tinseltown. Like almost everyone living in a 50-mile radius of Hollywood, I longed to be a guy with a screenplay at the ready and the hope that someday people would hear my words spoken by someone other than myself. While that came true in part with the superb audiobook of my last novel, the silver screen kept calling.

So, I am turning the page on my creative career. I don't think I will be writing any more books for the foreseeable future, but, through M68 Films, I hope to partner with many other fellow creatives to tell stories that engage and inspire. The first tale will be one you already know, as we are preparing to bring Fool's Luck to your local cineplex (and afterwards to your favorite streaming service).

I hope you can join us on this journey.
