February 2024 Wrap Up

February was a month filled with change and some great memories! I started my new job as a nanny at the beginning of the month with a sweet baby boy and have been really enjoying that! I also had some hot chocolate/coffee outings with my Mom and our dog, Roxie, and got some sweet letters in the mail that brightened my day!

I also participated in Eliza Noel’s Valentine’s Week Challenge where I had to wear either pink or red all week. It was fun!

For Valentine’s Day I got some hot chocolate and a macaron, and had some sweets while watching The Princess Diaries! Also got some sweet gifts from people! Was a good day!

My Mom, sister, and I also went down to Houston for a day trip and got our hair done with our hair stylist that we’ve been going to since my sister and I were little. It was fun, and we got some good food too!

My family and I also have been enjoying seeing our two neighborhood ducks, Donnie and Daisy!

I got to go and spend the weekend with one of my best friends Rachel in South Carolina! We got to go to Winter Jam together and meet Joseph 0’Brien, one of my favorite artists! Also went downtown and watched a movie, recorded a live podcast episode, played mini golf, and got tacos! My first flight to my connecting flight home got delayed by four hours, and ended up getting on the last plane home! Thankful I made it!

I’ve also been enjoying attending my Bible Study on Ruth, I feel like I’ve really grown in my walk with the Lord through it. And I sent off the sequel to A Love So Sweet to my editor this month!

What I’m Grateful For: A weekend with one of my besties, phone calls with friends, tacos, getting to record a podcast episode in person with Rachel, gluten-free pizza, good books, getting to go to Winter Jam and meet Joseph O’Brien, cute ducks, God’s unconditional love and grace, laughter, and cute parks.

What I’ve Been Listening to: Joseph O’Brien’s new single, Something Different, Josh Wilson’s new song It Gets Better, Coby James song ILOVEYOU, Owl City’s cover of Boston, What Faith Can Do by Kutless, Let Go by Jacob Stanifer, Picture Perfect People by Jordan Blaine and Matthew Parker, and Grace is Waiting by HNRY.

What I’ve Been Reading: Ruth: Loss, Love, and Legacy by Kelly Minter, This Life of Mine by Victoria Lynn, Authentically, Izzy by Pepper Basham, and the first three books of the Winnie the Horse Gentler series. (rereads).

What I’ve Been Watching: The Unsung Hero Movie by For King & Country and the Super Bowl.

How was your February? What has God been teaching you this month?
