My last blog was all about how I was going to blog more – it was only a year ago.

What has changed? Everything and nothing.

The best thing is that two friends who have had cancer and have now come out the other side and are starting to enjoy life again. I don’t think there’s anything more important than that.

I’m still writing a new book. It’s like nothing else I’ve written before and that’s great fun. But, when real life is so poignant, I do wonder sometimes what the point of fiction is.
