Thank you very much, David, for your wonderful comments and recommendation. They mean a lot to me and are very much appreciated.

Many years pass when he decides to enlist the help of a female researcher, Sofia, a doctor formerly stationed in Africa with Doctors Without Borders, who takes a break from her profession and is convinced to join a group of searchers for lost family and friends. It is in Verona where she accepts the position as a therapist for writers in grief.
Does their searching take them anywhere? Is that face identified? Who does this beauty turn out to be? The story spans decades of time, and, in so doing, displays the profound connection the soldier had to this mystery woman. I highly recommend the reading of this very enjoyable story filled with mystery, love, intrigue and history.
