An often asked question is where do authors get their ideas. In my case it started when my kids were young. At bedtime they would ask for a story so I made one up.
Ever since then I try to imagine being asked to tell a story about something that happened during the day. As an observer of behaviour and as I interact with people, ideas just pop into my head.
The next time you are at the checkout or buying coffee, speak to the person and maybe, just maybe a story will arise.
