Thanks!

I just want to say thanks to the people who have been reading Annie Bot and kindly spreading the word about it. I keep hearing from new readers who are discovering and appreciating the novel, and I'm grateful.
Best,
Sierra
P.S. I saw the eclipse yesterday and it was amazing! S.

Noodle’s Book Nook I just finished this in one day after seeing it on a Goodreads list yesterday and this is the best book i have read this year. It was deeply upsetting and I think I was on the verge of tears the entire book by how upset I was for Annie and I still could not put it down. Thank you for writing this unique book i do not think i will ever forget this read.

Thank you, Noodle's. I'm touched to hear the novel moved you so much. I can say that I was worried for Annie the entire time I was writing it, too, so I understand how you feel. Thanks for taking a moment to write to me. S.

Tamar...playing hooky for a few hours today I think this might be one of the most compelling reads of the year. Not a SF buff, but I was overwhelmed with emotion/compassion for Annie.

Tom Annie Bot has the best written and most accurate portrayal of therapy in any piece of fiction I have read or seen. As a mental health professional, it is wonderful to see accurate and healthy depictions of therapy in media. A+ read!

Kaylee Willis [SPOILER ALERT] This book had me in a chokehold from start to finish... I need you to make it a series or write another one for my sanity... respectfully :P Seriously -- I keep googling "Books like Annie Bot" but in reality I just need another from you lol Are you going to write more? Also, I was having so many complicated feelings for everyone involved in the story. I wanted to cry, laugh, and even fall in love myself. It was compelling, their power dynamic. Also, my heart ached for her to get out from under his grip and feel the world for herself, but at the same time I never wanted them to leave the bubble of "bliss" that they created for themselves and I was left hoping they would find their way back to the "love" they shared, however complicated it was. It felt like he broke my heart when he was "hurting" her. I was jealous for her, I felt the tightness in my own chest reading her expierences. It made me question what I thought it was to be human, and what I thought needed to be in place for "love" to exist. What is love? What is "hurt"? I could go on... It also summarized so much of what it feels like to be a woman (a young woman) dating a man. So much attention goes to pleasing the man in hopes to win the continued affections that fuel our sense of value and worth, as if we share in the job of a bot... yet we are free in ways Annie wasn't. It is so complicated, and I was so hooked. I finsihed it last night and I am sure I will keep evolving in my feelings about it. I have never re-read a book, but I am about to start this one over, because I need to go back into the world you created. I need to resolve my feelings and see it through another lense. I wonder how I will feel after finsihing it for the second time. Will I be rooting for them, knowing what he will do to her? Will I hope she gets away this time, when last time all I wanted was to see her back in his arms after she leaves. Right now, I have a soft spot for them still and the ending left me feeling hurt in a way, though I was also so excited to see her thrive. ARE YOU GOING TO WRITE A SECOND ONE ABOUT HER NEXT CHAPTER? - with "love", Kaylee

Daniel Carmeli Thank you so much for writing this book. I don’t know how you did it, but Annie’s story felt so similar to mine - even down to particular thoughts, emotions, experiences, dialogues, etc. Though I’m not a bot (or even identify as female), I saw myself in Annie and your storytelling helped me feel like I wasn’t alone. Again, thank you.

Sol I absolutely loved Annie Bot. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster, making me feel a deep connection with the story and its characters. At times, I was filled with love and hope, while other moments left me frustrated or even angry. I’ll be eagerly looking forward to your next work!
