My next book, the fifth in the Kitty Lockwood series, is called The Wilds. Most writers fall into one of two camps - The Plotters or The Seat of the Pants scribblers - Pantsers. Once I have an idea I sketch out the story. I know my destination - I'm headed towards a violent battle between the heroine and the 'villain.' I try to follow this but, inevitably, I'm nudged off course by my characters. That's what happened with The Wilds and is one of the reasons there was such a long gap between this novel and the last.
