Hello my lovely readers! As I gear up for the release of A Dream of Blood and Magic I wanted to take a moment to be completely transparent about the romance/spicy content in ADOBAM.

This is book one of the Spirit Marked series which IS a romantasy that will span at minimum three planned books. Its goal is to establish the framework for not only Avery's magical storyline of self-discovery but her journey toward finding her one true love as well.

Book one is extremely tame in terms of romance/spice (doesn't take center stage until the last 20-15% of the book) compared to all my previous works, but this was done on purpose as one of my firm beliefs when writing romance is that the spice needs a deep emotional connection for it to hit the romantic beats I aim for in all of my books.

I don't want any reader who ever picks up one of my books to be caught off guard by a story element or lack thereof. If you prefer super spicy fantasy romance, I promise those delicious, tingly, toe-curling moments will come... in book two. If you prefer your romance and spice right away, you may be disappointed with ADOBAM, and that's the last thing I want for you to experience when reading my books. So proceed at your own discretion... though I think you might find that you're gonna want to come back for A Dream of Frost and Midnight...
