We Don't Need A Beer - A Response in Song to Government Corruption
Is the Ford Government Corrupt?
Recently Bonnie Crombie, leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, accused Doug Ford of corruption. In the clip above she states:
"This is a government that does not want to get any work done and doesn't want to be held to account because guess what? This is a corrupt government. This is a corrupt premier."

"It's not the first time I've called him that."And she is correct. Here is link to a previous time she called the government corrupt.

My friend Angie recommended I put my experience in song. So here it is, my original song "We Don't Need A Beer." An anti corruption anthem.
If you're against government corruption, send this to your government officials.
CHORUS:Enough’s enoughWe’re sick and tired of all of yourCorruptionWe see the truthWe are not slavesAnd we won’t behaveCan you hear me now?You break lawsAnd make your friend’s rich whileChildren starveWe see the truthYou are not a kingHear the people singWe don’t need a beer
VERSE ONE:Okay let’s talk about the governmentMore specifically about how our money’s spentSending funds overseasTo kill children in the streetsAnd we can’t afford to eatAnd a home’s a luxuryI once fucked with the governmentFound corruption and they tried to buy silenceBut it’s pretty clear to seeThat you cannot buy meIt’s time to fix the problemSo
CHORUS TWO:Enough is enoughWe’re sick and tired of all of yourCorruptionWe see the truthWe are not slavesAnd we're not afraidCan you hear me now?
You break lawsAnd make your friend’s rich whileChildren starveWe see the truthYou are not a kingLet the people singWe don’t need a beer
VERSE TWOUnderspending on disability3.7 billion less for families1.7 billion less for the hospitalsBut there's funds for the owners of the capitalWhat's all the savings forWell, your local corner storeSo you can drink 'til you are numbSo you'll forget what they've doneCuz it's pretty clear to seeThat they don't work for weAnd it's time to hold them accountableSo
CHORUS THREE:Enough is enoughWe’re sick and tired of all of yourCorruptionWe see the truthWe are not slavesAnd we're not afraidCan you hear me now
Sticks and Stones May Break My BonesBut all your lies Cost me my homeAre you insane? We're going down the drainWe don't need a beer.
