If I had a word for June it would be splendid. June is highly anticipated in my life. I am anxious to sit in my cozy bay retreat and write. June is the gateway to the next three months of long days, sunshine, boating, and grand sunsets. I look forward to writing until my fingers are weary, walking with my dear pal, Scarlet, all over the island and, of course, much needed quiet time with my hubby!

My goal, hopefully, is that my next novel, the sequel to The Silver Cowgirls, will come to fruition by the expected deadline. Fingers-crossed. Stay tight in your saddle and keep an eye for sneak previews. In the meantime, enjoy June in all its glory and some of my favorite pics below!

Check out Scarlett as she is ready to dive in. Swimming, not merely wading, will be new for her. So watch for her maiden voyage. I think we all may get wet!
