ILLBORN SAGA BOOK THREE UPDATE AND TITLE REVEAL!

Hi, I am pleased to reveal today that the title for Book Three of The Illborn Saga is going to be…

GATEBOUND

By way of update, I am delighted to share that I have finished writing and editing the third book (of the four book series) to the stage where I have issued a copy to my tried and trusted group of beta readers this week.

I have asked my beta readers to respond with feedback before the end of August, and I plan to use the month of September to incorporate feedback and to do a final proofread and edit.

I will then submit the novel to the self-publishing process which I use, such that I expect it to be published early in 2025 (I will provide a precise publication date later this year).

I have worked incredibly hard on this novel, and am feeling proud of what I have created. I am excited to receive feedback from my group of beta readers, and am even more excited to share the book with the wider readership of The Illborn Saga.

Gatebound is very similar in length to Aiduel’s Sin (close to 200k words), so will take the full length of The Illborn Saga to c620k words and c2,000 pages!

Thanks to everyone who has supported the series so far, and I hope that you will continue the story by reading Gatebound. If you are new to The Illborn Saga, the next few months will be a great time to venture into ILLBORN (book one) and Aiduel’s Sin (book two), in readiness for the publication of the third book.

If you are an existing fan, I would be grateful if you could please keep recommending The Illborn Saga to potential new readers – I will only be able to grow the series’ readership with your recommendations.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Tom, book 3 will be published early in 2025. This year, my reading has included the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson (which is wonderful), the Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee (very good) and The Book of the Ice by Mark Lawrence (also very good).

I am very active on Instagram, talking about the books I am reading.
