So my book went public on the Sabbath and some of my friends need the print edition, which was an afterthought and not out yet. But let's start a game. This book, aside from the intro and outro, is a two person dialogue. The younger female lead is Anna. Why? Well, I finally watched the 50 Shades movies with my partner and frankly we are both trained observers. We laughed where the audience wouldn't be getting it. Anna is not a victim. She is a power player. She is invited to negotiate a contract and she starts rewriting and striking terms. She knows she gets what she wants or no deal, and the guy obviously wants the deal. So this novella isn't a romance between the two lead characters, who aren't obviously related. But I have already been told it's a romance, and when I proofed it I got it, though the premise is science fiction. A screenwriting book says all movies start with an orphan hero. Deny archetypes with any scientific arguments you want, but the archetypes are still here. And this Anna seems a touch of the orphan and that's what drives her. She doesn't get the most lines. But it is Anna's story. She knocks on the door. So who would you cast? I'd want Dakota Johnson because I think big. But I'm open to suggestion, and it is a game.
