Inspiration
View from my deck - looks like I'm in the middle of the wilderness - I wish ๐. To me, it's clear I'm not - for the sounds of traffic run in the background - only a few blocks away. But I'm ignoring that.ย
People complain about the heat, the lack of rain etc, etc. I say all that will pass soon enough. By October we'll be complaining about drizzly cold or worse. Yes, on the prairies it's all about the weather. So enjoy the warmth while it's here. What's better than sitting outside immersed in a good story? ย
Although from the sound of that squirrel, he's pissed. I don't think it has anything to do with the weather. And, in case you're wondering, I know he's a he because he visits me rather regularly checking to see if I've left more than water out for him.ย
Trivia aside I'm heading back to my story so that I can get my hero and heroine safely to the end and my killer caught before he does more damage. That won't all happen today. I may take a break - read a bit. I've got a few books on the go, one is rather cringe worthy - yes it's a real time serial killer whose normality made him beyond frightening. For those that are curious - that was Ted Bunny. I suppose we can all be thankful for the past tense in mention of his name.ย
