As I talk with teens and children since the pandemic, I have observed them describe themselves as anxious. They feel anxious about the future, anxious about school, and anxious about relationships. It's important to talk these feelings out with your children. That is one reason why I wrote Four Anxious Armadillos. I wanted to equip kids and families with coping skills when they have anxious thoughts. I want them to ask themselves, what is the worst thing that can happen? Often our mind imagines the worst, but when we are able to speak about it, we often see that it is not as bad as we have imagined. This book takes kids on a journey through Argentina with four armadillo friends, but more than that, it will take them on a journey of understanding and dealing with their own anxiety.
