Good News Update

Thought you’d like to know, the final edits to PRESCRIPTION FOR DECEPTION have been submitted to my publisher, which means we now are in production! Next steps are the cover design and formatting of the manuscript for printing.

This is the final novel in the Secret Shepherd Trilogy. The previous two are THE MAIDSTONE CONSPIRACY and THE PLOT TO ASSASSINATE SECRET SHEPHERD.

The suspense trilogy tracks the risks and rewards a wealthy couple encounter as they travel the world, dodging increasingly aggressive wannabe assassins while helping people become self-sufficient and able to help others do likewise. Yeah, I know, Utopian but we all need some good stuff, right?

You’d think after five books the excitement of impending publication would subside. Nope! Each book reaching the marketplace has been a thrill and gratifying – and scary. Most likely it will be the same for upcoming book number six, a collection of short stories called ADVENTURES that’s now being prepared for final editing.

Six months ago, I advised you that a contract for PRESCRIPTION FOR DECEPTION had been signed with my publisher, Next Chapter. It seems like a long time ago, but those timelines are normal in the publishing world. I don’t know yet when the novel will be released, but I’m delighted it’s finally in the queue! A few more months, no doubt.
