The Mid-Continent Public Library’s Romance GenreCon is back for another year of great programming. Billed as the “most romantic event at the library,” the fun runs from August 8-10, 2024, at the Woodneath Library Center and Auditorium.

Can you say Bridgerton? I can’t wait to hear Julia Quinn talk about her well-loved romance books that were turned into a popular Netflix series by executive producer extraordinaire Shonda Rhimes. Quinn will also be signing copies of her books. I’ve got mine ready!

So it’s time for you to get ready for a weekend of author panels, book signings, and opportunities to connect with fellow readers.

Fans of every type of romance will find something to love. For writers, Romance GenreCon is an ideal platform to enhance your skills, refine your storytelling, and find inspiration for your craft.

Other events include the Lady KC Reading Salon, hosted by New York Times bestselling author Cathy Maxwell, and the author fair and book signing on Saturday, August 10th, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
