GD: Orchard Park, NY 7/4/89

Here’s a show from a bit before I got on the bus in the mid-1990s (Why then? I don’t know; when it’s time, it’s time…). I’m thankful, and ever Grateful, that I “got it” one day, when a friend played a tape of a live Dead show and I heard something like never before…

I was able to get to a couple of shows that last tour in 1995, before Jerry moved on to another realm, and of course, they were amazing – like nothing else I’d ever experienced!

But oh, to have been able to go on some of those long tours of the past! Where’s my time-machine?

Well, we have the time-machines of live recordings and videos! Loving this show from 1989!
