Dipping My Toes Into Blog Waters
This is my first ever blog post via social media, and it is incredibly exciting!
I am answering a few questions about my writing style to help my readers learn more about me.
So here it goes,
Stepping Forward Into The Past: A Heartwarming Southern Alabama Multigenerational and Multicultural Faith-Based Family Drama.
Question 1: Does writing energize or exhaust you? I'm most definitely energized when I come up with random wow moments that I hadn't plotted out yet in my chapter summaries. On the other hand, I can feel extremely exhausted after putting in a ten-hour day of writing, which I do most days.
Question 2: What makes a great story? An excellent story would give me all sorts of different feelings, putting me on a roller coaster of emotions. While writing my stories, that is one thing I am highly focused on achieving.
Question 3: What inspired you to start writing? I have loved reading from an early age and spent much of my childhood in public libraries. From then on, I dreamed of writing my own book, and it never left me. I only wish that I had reached for that dream sooner in my life, but one cannot live with regrets. Better late than never is how I see things in terms of when my life as an author began.
On a side note, can you imagine how miraculous it was to know that Ohio libraries carried my books last year? I was over the moon with happiness, and my dream was undoubtedly fulfilled.
I'll leave you with this for now, but I'll be back to answer more questions soon!
In the meantime, check out my latest novel, Stepping Forward Into The Past, by clicking the link at the top of this page. I can assure you it will take you on a roller coaster of emotions.
Enjoy your day, and happy reading, everyone.
