But when a series of seemingly random and brutally slain bodies appear around Eastbourne in a macabre treasure hunt, Barnes connects the cases - and realises that it isn’t a suicide note at all.

Barnes must find his killer before the remaining names on the list suffer a similar fate, and a break in the case has Barnes looking directly into his inner sanctum. Setting foot into history, he uncovers long-buried secrets that are now breaking the surface of the present – with violent consequences.
