Kaffe Bernina

Happy to have been able to trade in my 750qe for a Kaffe Edition Bernina 770 QE Plus!It sews like a dream. And then there is that huge bobbin!

The sewing room is coming together! Picked up my sewing table that a friend had been storing for me. My Barbie collection watching over me. Red bins store pre-fused fabrics by color. Other cubes store fabric. The white tall chairhas my first Bernina 153 QE, which I will never get rid of. It sews throughanything, even watercolor paper.

My new wall of quilts! It’s rather fun to look back on my career as a quilt artistand fabric designer. Mistyfuse for the win! I was a Mistyfuser! Making wallquilts with wool blended felt and no batting or binding. The Rebel Quilter!Journal Quilts from 2003 8-1/2 x 11. House quilt reminds me where I havebeen, to the Spiral Quilt which was such a fun class to teach! Oh the memories!

My ironing board from Target eons ago. It’s not ideal, but it works. Just don’tLet that hot iron touch one of my puffer coats. May have to move them, and make room for more shelving in that closet.

My cutting table is in another room. It’s just the right height. Quilts grace this wall too. You can see a portion of our painted hallway done in 2020

My Life on a Cup. December. Christmas lists, wrapping, sewing, making tags,all the while trying to stay positive is these tumultuous times. I keep saying tomyself to remain calm, have Joy, be positive, stay strong. Be well my friends.
