BL at Beyond Romance..?
Heck yeah! I admit it. I read BoyLove stories and watch BoyLove Anime. I am still not exactly sure why I like it so much, but I have considered a couple possibilities. 1. BL comes with it's own list of conflicts that get in the way of the HEA. 2. My boys are often more straightforward and willing to jump into love. 3. When I think of visuals, I'd rather watch guys than girls. Though, I recently discovered that if the story is good, I can enjoy watching (sweet) Girl-Love anime. No plans yet to write any.
Whatever the reason, I ended up writing m/m erotic paranormal romance, and am proud of my stories. I just love my boys. Some start off gay or bi, with or without experience and others fall in love first, then learn how to enjoy the physical side. The way I think about it, there is no wrong way to fall in love. The important part is complete acceptance and learning how to truly cherish that special someone.
