Now that THE SORCERESS IN EXILE is published, I wanted to share future release plans.

I am currently hard at work on Book 3, which will be the final book in the Athyziad trilogy.

I expect getting the first draft written will take a few months. Then, what I like to do is set it aside, while I get beta reader feedback and developmental edits. It is also nice to set it aside between writing the first draft and editing it.

While that is happening, I plan to return to a prequel novel I have already written. This will take place before book 1. I would like to edit and release this by the end of the year (2025).

Once this is out, I will return to book 3, incorporate beta reader feedback and developmental edits. I will edit and publish, hopefully in the second half of 2026.

I was lucky to have most of Sorceress finished by the time I released Council. This meant once Council was published, I only had to edit Sorceress, so I was able to release it relatively quickly (within 9 months). I like to take time between initial drafts and editing, so will be able to do this with Book 3, by finishing the prequel in between.

To summarize, the tentative schedule for the Athyziad is:

Book 1: THE COUNCIL OF ATHYZIA - OUT NOW
Book 2: THE SORCERESS IN EXILE - OUT NOW
Book 0.5: Prequel novel - End of 2025
Book 3: Final book - 2026
