His sole desire is to destroy America, which he hates because some of its citizens are able to think for themselves and don’t bow down low enough to worship him. He will continue to deny the catastrophe of global warming and will overturn all green initiatives. He will kiss up to Putin. He will attack our universities, eviscerate the free press, upend the constitution and declare himself president for life. He will tank the economy for no other reason than that he can. He will express fascist territorial demands and wave a fistful of missiles at Copenhagen till the Danes come to their senses and cede him Greenland. He has bad taste. He hates dogs. His ties are too long and too red. He will demean the office and the White House, making it a backdrop for marketing snake oil and non-fungible tokens to rip off the credulous. He will make Americans villains in the eyes of the world and turn the flag into a symbol not of hope and freedom but of hate and oppression. He is president. He lives in the White House. I hear you, Chris and Paul. I feel as if I'm hanging on by my fingertips over a great yawning chasm and Trump keeps tying pianos to my back (as well as wiping out a full third of my lifelong accumulation of wealth in a mere two days). You're right about joking, Chris. Our only hope at this point is that an asteroid will hit the planet and wipe out every living thing.
