Who the heck is JB Juke?Writer or Rider? Or BothSo. Do you ever just ask yourself. Who am I? Like, really. Who am I?
Some may say that we define ourselves by what we do most. For some, that means they are a workaholic. Others are homemakers. Moms, Dads, Students, etc. So, I guess the better question here is, what do I spend most of my time on?

Lately, I've been spending a large portion of my day editing audio for my book, The Cardinal Patrons. But what else do I do? When I'm not writing or spending time with family, I can be found riding a dirt trail somewhere on a dual sport motorcycle. But for the sake of argument, let's just call that research.
If that's something that might interest you, link below to see several adventure ride videos that I've been on around the United States.
Since I'm calling my dual sport adventures "Research" I might as well go ahead and tell you about the actual locations that inspired locations in The Cardinal Patrons. The desert areas in and around Fort Huachuca in Airzona but more importantly, the landscape in and around the world of Chiricahua was inspired by the mountains and deserts in Moab, Utah. When I close my eyes and vision the landscape of the town of Chiricahua, I picture the valleys and vast deserts of the White Rim Trail in Moab. It's a magical place that not many get to see. I could easily see the small town of Chiricahua in any one of these pictures below.
That's it for now. You will be hearing from me again soon. Next time, I'll share the story of how I started writing The Cardinal Patrons. And some inspirations behind some of the characters.
Until next time,
