The Murmuring Mirror is calling...
Put the kettle on (again) and brace yourself for a shiver down your spine—The Murmuring Mirror is nearly here!
This is the fifth Amberwood Hall adventure, and quite possibly the most mysterious yet. With ghostly goings-on, ballet rehearsals gone wrong, and friendships put to the test, I can’t wait to share it with you. (Let’s just say, mirrors should never whisper...)
This time, the focus shifts slightly. Whilst Lauren still holds centre stage, Nyree plays a slightly bigger role—and of course, Katie, Ethan, and Jay all have their own dramas (and dilemmas). As for Grace and Rodney, Amberwood Hall’s resident ghosts… let’s just say they’re up to their usual tricks, and then some.
I can’t wait for you to read it.
The cover has just been revealed, and I’m thrilled to bits with how it turned out. You can take a sneak peek over on my books page and don't forget to join the Giveaway for a free signed first edition copy. You can pre-order the ebook now for just 99p!
The price will go up to £2.99 on June 10th, the day of the official launch. That’s also when the paperback becomes available (£7.99), so if you love a good ghostly mystery with your pointe shoes and pirouettes, now’s the time to snap it up.
As always, authors like me live and breathe thanks to lovely readers like you. If you’re excited about The Murmuring Mirror, you can help in three wonderful ways:
1. Pre-order the ebook
2. Leave a review (Amazon adores reviews—honestly, they make a huge difference!)
3. Tell a friend (and gently suggest they buy their own copy rather than borrowing yours!)
This month’s Recommended Read is Birds Without Wings by Louis de Bernières. I’ve long been a fan of his writing, and this one stands out for its moving portrayal of the end of the Ottoman Empire and the heartbreak of war. It’s history wrapped in the deepest humanity—and utterly unforgettable.
Thanks, as ever, for reading. Whether you’re here for the ghosts, the ballet, or the friendships, I’m so glad to have you at Amberwood.
Until next time,
Eleanor
