May’s Potluck Pig has arrived, and I couldn’t be more delighted! This charming little piggy was a gift from my cousin-in-law, and she’s the latest (and possibly the most fabulous) addition to my ever-growing collection. Just look at those eyelashes—so dramatic, so glamorous! If she could talk, I’m convinced she’d have the sassiest personality, tossing out witty one-liners while batting those long lashes.

But guess who else has taken a liking to my new pink porcine pal? The dog! He’s absolutely smitten. I caught him curled up right next to her, blissfully napping, as if she were his new best friend. Unfortunately, his love comes with a price—black dog hair everywhere! My poor pig went from pristine pink to slightly furry in record time. Luckily, a few swipes of a lint roller saved the day. However, for her safety (and continued cuteness), I’ve relocated her to a dog-free zone.

Quirky treasures like this always make my heart happy. There’s just something magical about stumbling upon an object that instantly sparks joy, whether it’s a vintage teacup, a funky piece of art, or, in my case, a pink pig with enviable lashes.
