What If a Planet Could Remember You?

I’ve always been fascinated by memory—not just what we recall, but how we’re remembered.

When I started writing The Silent Signal, the idea wasn’t just about deep space exploration. It was about what would happen if a planet could store consciousness… and didn’t want to let go. What if you arrived somewhere new, and it already knew everything about you?

That idea shaped the entire novel: a sentient world, a missing astronaut, and a crew trying to understand the difference between memory and identity. It’s part thriller, part mystery, and part meditation on what we leave behind when we go searching for something more.

If you’ve ever read a book like Annihilation or Solaris, you know the kind of eerie, quiet awe I’m talking about. That’s the feeling I tried to capture—something unsettling but meaningful.

📖 The Silent Signal is now live on Goodreads if you’d like to mark it as "Want to Read."

And if you’ve read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts: What do you think makes us who we are—our memories, or how others remember us?
