Something I wasn't prepared for when I became a writer was the possibility of actually having 'fans.' That sounds ridiculous I suppose because that's probably what every author dreams of, but I never really allowed myself to think I'd ever have any.
So now, when people write a review and say something like "I'm a fan of Victoria's work" it's a phrase that they probably give little thought to, but it makes me jump for joy.
It's amazing to me that there are people out there, people I don't know, who love my writing.
And every time they message me, comment on a post or leave a review, I feel incredibly grateful.
Every author has bad days and it's a very unpredictable industry, but hearing from readers who love a book you've put your heart and soul into is THE BEST THING.
So thank you, all of you! Your support means a great deal to me and I promise to keep writing uplifting, interesting books full of human kindness for as long as you will let me.
