Beware the overworking of July: Books, Hiking, and a Wedding

July is going to be a busy month, so you’ll have to forgive me. I’m trying to put the final feather in the cap of the Uncommon Universe short story collection, but it may have to take a backseat for a bit—because I’m getting married this month! I’m not crying… I’m just happy.

If you’ve been through this process, you know it’s a lot. There’s definitely a part of me still thinking about eloping (shhh), but when all is said and done, it’s just a day—hopefully a great one.

If you’ve read the dedication in Gambling on Common Sense, you already know that the soon-to-be Mr. Briar is a lovely man and an excellent cook. (Ryan, if you’re reading this—fine. I concede. You’re the better cook. Don’t let it go to your head. 😛). I’m not afraid of what the future holds, but I do feel like I’m taking that deep breath before diving into the ocean. And all signs point to it being a beautiful swim.

What does this mean for you, wonderful readers?
It means I may not be around as much these next few months. So! I’ll be sharing a few extra BookFunnel promos up front to keep all you free book addicts satisfied in the meantime. See above or dip deeper into this newsletter for the latest in literary news!
